BROWNNOSE

BOOTLICKER
:)What a cool new trick. Took a little bit of screwing around at first, but it works like a charm.

Download the SBCL and unpack it to where it will live, there is no install.

I used the EmuNation-sc rev 941.4 plugin files, copy those over the SBCL plugin files, and I had to install the Visual C++ 2008 redistributable, for which there is a link in the SBCL root dir. I changed the rqcamd.conf lines as described above: decoder_type=1 and card_server_url_0=newcamd://test:test@SBCL_ServerIP:6001/0102030405060708091011121314 (replace SBCL_ServerIP with the IP address of the PC running the SBCL server) and added the current 0101 keys to the Softcam.key in the plugins dir. I fired up the SBCL v1.1b.exe then clicked the tuner tab, clicked Stop and put my 7020 IP in. Restarted rqcamd on my 7020, clicked start in SBCL Tuner and then noticed that the console whined about a bad key for N 0101 00, which was strange, because it was there and I verified it from a couple of different sources. It also complains about the Irdeto2 keys, but it flipped out when I commented those out so I uncommented them and they don't cause any problems. After a couple of restarts and having to add my 7020 IP back in because of refused connects it all of a sudden started working.

This cardsharing without a card deal is a great backup for softcams and should be in everyone's bag of tricks.
