How can I transfer files onto my harddrive?

I have a new harddrive, but being the opposite of tech-savvy, I don't know how to transfer files to it. How can I achieve this?

It's quite easy actually, and you don't need to be particularly computer- or tech-savvy to achieve this goal.What I do is go to My Computer. Look at the side of your hard drive, and the name should be on the side. That name should appear on your computer. Click on it, and it will show you everything that is on the hard drive.Based on what you've said, I assume that you haven't gotten anything onto your hard drive yet, so it should be empty, unless I'm wrong, which I could be. Anyway, you can highlight what you want, and then drag it into your hard drive, where it will then appear in the pop-up box that lists what is in your hard drive.What you can also do is highlight what you want to be transferred to your hard drive. Hightlight it all, and then right click on the highlighted documents, folders, etc., and then scroll down a little, to where it says "send to", with a little arrow after. Leave your mouse on that tab, and it will send down another scroll box. Near the bottom you should see the name of your hard drive. You click on that, and those files will then be transferred to your hard drive with no worried.It's pretty simple, remember, and you can transfer anything onto your hard drive easily and without worry.
