I got this from another site and it worked for me. The credit goes to Psifry.
You really should not need the "factory software." You need the latest img file: IS9000P_1275_JUN1010_P.img
Turn OFF the Unit in the back first. If you don't do this you can blow your box when you pull the LNB cable.
Disconnect the LNB cable and the ethernet cable.
Turn it back on and in the Menu do a "Data Reset."
After it is reset, go to the System Information screen and confirm the version you have installed.
As of July 3rd it should say:
Model Name: IS-9000 Plus @
Software Version: SV 3.1275
Software Date: Jun 10, 2010
If it doesn't then get the latest file and put it on using the USB stick.
Make sure you have the correct model and software. I don't think you can put the "9000" software onto a "9000+" box and vice-versa.
If the software is all good, turn the box OFF again.
Reconnect the ethernet cable and the LNB cable to the correct ports.
Run thru the set up again.
I am currently up on 110 and 119 DN. I don't use BEV so no idea if that works.
If this is still failing for you, then you need to provide your settings in the Antenna setup:
What sats you are trying to use (110, 119, 82, 91, other?)
Types of LNB's
Types of switches
Let us know the results.
