Windows Media Player doesn't recognize my AT&T Tilt?

Hi, I'm at my wit's end with this - I've been scouring the internet for two months trying to find a solution, and nothing has worked. Here's what's happening: I used to have a Samsung Blackjack and Windows XP and was able to sync my media. I upgraded to Vista Home Premium, and was unable to sync my media with the Blackjack (neither the device nor the storage card was recognized by WMP 11). I have since upgraded my phone and now have an AT&T Tilt (also known as HTC 8925), and am having the same problems - regardless of what I do (as I said, I've scoured the 'net and tried everything I could find), WMP 11 will not recognize my device. Here's the real rub: The device syncs through Windows Device Center without a problem, so I know Vista sees the device, but I can't for the life of me figure out why WMP 11 won't. Please help!!!!!!!

Hi Ray,I think you need to get Motorola Phone Tools. It's a nifty program you put on your computer and you can connect to your phone and do all kinds of neat stuff. The cheapest and fastest way to get it is to buy it on eBay. You can get if for less then $5.00 and then download it so there is no shipping cost. For current eBay listings go to eBay and do a search for “Motorola Phone Tools”. Look at the ones that offer digital delivery. I have seen it as cheap as $2.60Once you have the software Motorola updates it free forever.Norm
