Hur moves in front by one on LPGA Tour
SPRINGFIELD, Ill., (UPI) -- M.J. Hur shot her second straight 6-under 66 in blustery conditions Friday and took a one-shot lead after two rounds of the State Farm Classic.

Hur, whose lone LPGA Tour victory came last season, finished 36 holes at the Panther Creek Country Club course in 12-under 132.

Alone in second place at 133 was Amy Young, who shot a 65 Friday. Cristie Kerr and Inbee Park both had a 67 and shared third at 134 with Alena Sharp and Na Yeon Choi.

Shanshan Feng, who held the opening-round lead, slipped into a tie for ninth at 136 after posting a 72. Michelle Wie was at 138.

"I played really solid today," Hur said. "I missed a lot of greens, but my chipping and putting saved me a lot. I had two chip-in birdies today, so I think it's really lucky."

Ai Miyazato, a two-time winner on the tour this year who could have taken over the No. 1 spot in the world rankings this week with a high finish, missed the cut.
