Genpix Firmware v2.06.4
Addresses possible sudden load changes during motor motion (inductive load), which can reset on-board LNB controller (and in some rear cases lock the device up).
You need Windows (32-bit version) machine to be able to upgrade firmware of you genpix device.
I repeat: Windows OS. Don't try to run downloaded file on your CW-3000HD receiver.
2.06.4 firmware is for 8PSK-to-USB2 Rev.2 adapter and SkyWalker-1 only.
It is not for original version of adapter.
Brief description of firmware upgrade procedure:
1) download ZIP archive from the link provided;
2) unzip the fw_2.06.4.exe file to any folder (just remember were you put the file);
3) connect 8PSK module to adapter Rev.2 (or skip this step, if you are using SkyWalker-1);
4) connect Molex 4-pin power connector to genpix device. Watch out for proper orientation of connector;
5) connect genpix device to you windows machine with USB cable (use USB 2.0 port on your Windows PC, PC is assumed to be ON);
6) switch ON the power of genpix device;
7) if requested, install genpix driver from original Genpix Drivers CD (if you need, driver installation procedure is on CD as well)
8) run fw_2.06.4.exe utility (and follow the instructions);
This would install the new firmware on your genpix device (new firmware would become active after you power-cycle the device)
