87-year-old arrested for selling crack
PENSACOLA, Fla., (UPI) -- An 87-year-old panhandling Florida woman was arrested after allegedly selling a $20 piece of crack cocaine, police say.
Escambia County undercover Deputy Sheriff Sgt. Ted Roy said he allegedly bought the drugs from Ola Mae Agee of Pensacola, Fla., the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reported Friday.
After she was arrested and processed, Agee was released on her own recognizance due to her age, the Pensacola News Journal said.
Agee allegedly is not the oldest person busted for selling crack. A 96-year-old woman from North Carolina was arrested with younger family members for selling the drug from her home in Kings Mountain, TheSmokingGun.com reported.
