AMERICOM Launches JUS Punjabi, Lockheed Wins Japan Deal
SES AMERICOM said it is distributing JUS Punjabi, a Punjabi-language network serving the Indo-Punjabi, Sikh and South Asian communities throughout the United States --- Lockheed Martin was awarded a contract by Japan's Broadcasting Satellite System Corporation (B-SAT) and SKY Perfect JSAT Corporation to build a new satellite. Designated BSAT-3c/JCSAT-110R, the satellite will be launched in the second quarter of 2011 aboard an Ariane 5 launch vehicle provided by Arianespace, Lockheed Martin said.
