Police in Huntsville, Ont., are searching for an armed man who broke into a home in nearby Lake of Bays township.
The Ontario Provincial Police's Huntsville detachment learned of the home invasion at about 1:30 p.m.
The man, wearing "camouflage outerwear," forced his way into the home and "confined the two victims inside," the OPP said in a release. "The victims eventually managed to get themselves free and contacted 911."
Without giving more details, police said the suspect was carrying a firearm when he entered the residence.
An OPP helicopter, a canine unit, along with and emergency response team are investigating. Police are asking the public to help them find a suspect.
He is described as being about five feet 10 inches tall, weighing 160 pounds with a slim build
