Provincial police are investigating after a man was found unconscious Tuesday and later died near Smiths Falls, Ont.
The man was found unconscious around 10:45 a.m. near Port Elmsley Road, near the Township of Drummond North Elmsley — about 80 km southwest of Ottawa.
He was taken to hospital in nearby Smiths Falls where police said he died of his injuries.
The OPP's forensic identification services unit is investigation.
Police have not said at this time whether the death is suspicious.
