Peel regional police say they have made an arrest for drunk driving in connection with a fatal two-car crash in Brampton.
One man faces impaired driving charges after the collision near Bramalea Road and Central Park Drive just before 5 a.m. ET Wednesday morning.
A woman in her 50s was pronounced dead at the scene after being ejected from her vehicle.
Police say two other people were rushed to hospital.
The man facing charges was arrested shortly after police arrived at the scene.
Police have closed Bramalea from Central Park to Goodwood for their investigation. The road could be closed for several hours.
