I have 3 Western Digital 500GB WD5000AAKS Caviar Blue hard drives in Raid 0 array. can i mirror the array on a Western Digital 1.5TB WD15EARS Caviar Green hard drive or do i need 3 more 500GB drives?
All you need is one drive for a mirror. Partition the new drive into 2 parts, install your OS in the C drive, transfer all your files into the C drive, then invoke your RAID and it will build a mirror to the other partition.
