Couldn't play COD: BLACK OPS in WINDOWS 7?

I couldn't play COD after upgrading MY OS from WINDOWS XP to WINDOWS 7. I know that's kind of a DirectX problem. How do I rectify it & play COD on WIN 7.

we can run cod black oops only if u have diretc x 10 or more and a compatible graphics card of memory min. 512 MB and a ram over 2gbi took have win 7 os but i could easliy install and i already completed the game
