The driver of a minivan that crashed into a store in Winnipeg's Grant Park neighbourhood on Thursday has died.
The 56-year-old man drove through the cinderblock wall of the Long and McQuade music store at Stafford Street and Taylor Avenue, at about 8:30 a.m. on Thursday.
The vehicle was almost fully inside.
On Friday, police said the man "suffered a medical emergency prior to the collision."
He drove the van onto the curb, through a fence and into the building.
He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said.
