This is the first mission, it takes place in 2004, nine years before the events in the rest of the game. This mission sets up the main storyline and gets you used to combat, cover, and moving throughout the game world.
Aiming your gun is simple. Point your gun at a target by holding your left trigger button down. The hostages will respond by getting into a nearby closet. To change targets, quickly Flick your Right analog stick.
After detonating the explosives, follow the path on your map to the yellow dot.
To switch characters from Michael to Trevor, Hold Down on your directional pad, and push your Right analog stick. Aim for the guard's head and shoot.
You will now get into a shootout with the cops. (Use this time to get a feel for the game and used to its controls.) During the shootout, you can switch characters anytime you wish.
Take cover somewhere using your left button. Hold your left trigger down, to aim automatically at a target. To get a new target; let go of your left trigger and then press it again to aim automatically at a new target. Keep moving forward and repeat this until all the cops are dead.
Hop in the getaway car and follow the map down the road.
As Trevor you will need too hold off the final wave of cops. Just stay in cover mode, and shoot whenever there's a target in the distance.
