You only need to complete one setup mission to begin this Heist call 'Military Hardware'. You also must first complete the Paleto Score Setup mission. Once you have, you'll need to find the 'Military Hardware'. The 'Military Hardware' mission will be displayed on the map with Hs.
Military Hardware Mission:
Find a good spot with lots of cover on the outskirts of Sandy Shores. Then wait for the convoy to appear.
Take out the 2 smaller trucks and then drive the larger truck back to the meth lab.
Take out any remaining enemies that follow you back and the mission will end.
To get gold:
- Head Hunter - Kill 5 enemies with headshots. Use Trevor's or Michael's special ability to help get this done.
- Sticky Strategist - Stop the convoy using a Sticky Bomb trap. Instead of shooting, plant sticky Bombs on the road ahead to take out the lead truck. Wait for the convoy lead truck to drive over them, then set them off. Try to avoid damaging the 'Military Hardware' truck.
The Paleto Score Mission:
The Paleto Score Heist is lots of fun!
With any of the three characters go to the meth lab, head up stairs and-watch the cut scene.
You will be automatically switched to Michael. Jump in the van and drive to the next way point in Paleto Bay.
Once Franklin gets out drive to the bank.
Now follow the others into the bank and let the fun begin.
Your gunman will work on the door to the vault. When he tells you the door is ready, go over and kick the door open with Michael.
You will be automatically switched to Trevor. Pepper the cop cars with the mini gun. The explosions will take out more police than just shooting at the men.
Spray the helicopter with a few rounds and take it out.
Now keep following the others, spraying what ever gets in your way.
If you picked a cheap gunman, he will get killed here. Be sure to grab the money bag he drops or you'll lose that money.
You will be automatically switched to Franklin. Just plow down anything in your way, keep a good speed and drive to the way point.
Now drive to the factory door.
You will be automatically switched to Michael. Shoot your way through the factory. Stay Trevor or Michael, as Franklin has little armor and can be killed easily.
You may need to wait for the train to arrive, just keep killing until it does.
Once it arrives, jump on it watch the cut scene and the mission ends.
To get gold:
- Let it Rain - Fire over 4,000 bullets. No need to be conservative, shoot everything that moves.
- Accuracy - Finish with a shooting accuracy of at least 50%. Use auto aim when you can.
- Time - Complete the mission within 16 minutes.
- Collateral Damage - Cause $1,000,000 damage. Trigger vehicle explosions with the mini gun and this should not be a problem.
