Having trouble getting Echostar 7?

I'm using a Coolsat 7100 PVR for DN. I set it up and did the auto search. It picked up both Echostar 8/10 and 7. However, it did not get any of the Echostar 7 channels. I have read a few other posts where people were having the same problem. Believe me, if I can do this, ANYONE can!

I tried doing the manual scan with the Freq. and other numbers that members have provided and no luck. Last night, with time to kill before my wife killed me since she couldn't find the local Fox channel with House, I tried again. This time I did the manual scan, and played with the numbers, each time I was watching the signal/quality bars at the bottom. Each time I changed numbers, the bars would either go up or disappear. I finally hit a number and both bars went to the 90-100% range. I left them alone, did the channel search, and BINGO 334 channels, including our local Fox network. All was well in the Marbleeyesjg house as my wife settled in to the season premiere of House.
If needed, let me know and I can pull up the exact numbers I used and post them this evening. But I would guess that for most, it will be trial and error. Just keep an eye on the signal bars

hello i have echo star 10,11 on my dish but i cant seem to find the right turn of the dish to find 7 and i have been told that it is better viewing than 10,11 can anbody tell me ruffly how far to turn and high much to put it down thanks

A fraction of a inch to the west & up a hair & you should get 119w echo 7 ...good luck ...
