Sorry for starting a new one, I couldn't figure out how to add on to Casper7's original post.
I figured out how to get my HDD to work on the CS71k. I am using a Western Digital 120gb (WD1200BEVS) drive in a Xtrastore media play enclosure. I was having trouble getting it to work, so I hooked to my computer, totally cleared the drive and used the stb to reformat it. It now works fine. Supposedly, when you format it through the stb, it erases everything. I tried that first, but it didn't work. So I totally cleared it using my PC, then formatted through the box and it worked just fine. Hope this helps.
