Glad I found this forum! Just wanted to say hey and wassup to everyone. I am a newbie, but looks like I may get a lot of help from this forum. First off, forgive me for posting this in wrong section but I do have a few questions. I have an Eagle receiver which I guess is a clone of the dreambox. Based on what I have read from the forum looks like the DISHNET sats work better over the DTV. What else is needed to get me going here? Looks like I need something called dreamup or gemini? How or where do I get these? Also, was thinking of getting one of the Sats with the one LNB that would pick up more signals (I think its called an invacom) would this work OR being a newbie, would I just be better using the DISHNET? One more thing, what do I need to download to open the zip and rar files (i know I'm gonna need this!)

Welcome pepboy great to have you here,, if sound like me me that you just get that DB new,, we have a ton of info for you to go thru,, but we can cut out alot of reading to get where you need here a good start with this link below anything after this will be in the dreambox help forums you going to have alot of fun testing just don't give up,,
