Yes, you will need to create an Action. This will literally record your steps and allow you to apply it to other files.You'll need to go through all the steps of what you want to duplicate this first time. Open the file you want to apply the action to. In Photoshop go to Window > Action to open the Actions palette. Click on the "Create New Action" button (looks like a piece of paper with a corner bent up). Give a name to your action and press Record. Now do the exact steps and press the Stop button (square) when you're done. You should see your action on the Actions palette.Now open the file you want your actions performed on, click on your action, press Play (triangle), and there you go!
