How can I let Photoshop CS3 automatically do changes i made to one picture, do to others?

So for example, i need to cut brighten a whole lot of pictures. Is there a way to automatically let photoshop do the same thing to other pictures?

Well i'm not /entirely/ sure of what cut brighten means, but i do know there is a way to brighten a multiple of layers without having to do over and over again.You can try Layer < New adjustment Layer < Brightness/contrast < (press ok) and then adjust as you wish. However, make sure the adjustment layer is at the very top of the layer palette.i'm sorry if i provided you with information you didn't need to hear xDgood luck.

Yes, you will need to create an Action. This will literally record your steps and allow you to apply it to other files.You'll need to go through all the steps of what you want to duplicate this first time. Open the file you want to apply the action to. In Photoshop go to Window > Action to open the Actions palette. Click on the "Create New Action" button (looks like a piece of paper with a corner bent up). Give a name to your action and press Record. Now do the exact steps and press the Stop button (square) when you're done. You should see your action on the Actions palette.Now open the file you want your actions performed on, click on your action, press Play (triangle), and there you go!

Yes, of course I do this all time!Windows>actions panel or Alt+F9> in action panel the forth button (like this for the new layer) >create a new action> give a name/function key =very important if you like to do the action with the puss of a button /and record (when you puss record button everything you do with photoshop is recorded in this specific action /when you done then click first button in action panel stop playing recording button /and that’s allNow if you like to play the action puss the specific function button or puss play/stop recording button (the first)That’s all folks
