How do I install wireless drivers in ubuntu?

I just downloaded ubuntu 8.10. This is my first time using a linux OS and am not exactly savvy with it. The card I have is a Ralink RT2860 and I downloaded the linux drivers from their website. Really I just need a push in the right direction.
