How To: Weather forecaster private iks server info

My friend just got a weather forecaster. He updated the receiver (VS Max HD) with the latest bin (PFTAHDMSW-100708HM.peg) follows the instruction an voila it worked.

I guess that the public server ip and port is already in the latest bin.

1 - It is possible to set the information for a private iks server? It went thru all the menus and could not find that option.

2 - Does he have to hex-edit the bin to do this?

3 - Do viewsat and nfusions have the same iks protocol?

Thanks but that does not address any of my questions. I already stated that he got it working with the public iks server. My friend has no issues with that. Questions are for private iks servers with the bin specified. I guess that a new bin will be required for a private iks server. I figured that the network settings on the VS MAX HD would have options for the ip, port, and maybe user/password to use a private server. My friend does not like sending his ip info to a public server.
