DALLAS – The Dallas Stars have reaquired winger Jamie Langenbrunner in a trade with the New Jersey Devils.
Langenbrunner, who was the Devils' captain, was a healthy scratch for Thursday night's game against Philadelphia amid rumors of the trade. The teams announced it Friday morning.
New Jersey gets a conditional third-round pick in the 2011 draft.
Langenbrunner was part of the Stars' only Stanley Cup championship in 1999. He was traded to New Jersey in 2002, and was part of the Devils' Stanley Cup championship in 2003.
Langenbrunner has 232 goals and 388 assists in 996 career NHL games.
