A man was severely beaten and left on Somerset Street West on Saturday night, Ottawa police say.
The victim, whose name has not been released, is in hospital with serious injuries after being found unconscious at the corner near Elgin Street at about 11:30 p.m. He suffered injuries including a broken nose and broken jaw and is listed in serious condition.
Police say they are looking for two suspects in the assault but have not given any description.
