MLB: San Francisco 6, Oakland 2
SAN FRANCISCO, (UPI) -- Aubrey Huff smacked a pair of homers to back Matt Cain's steady start Sunday and the San Francisco Giants swept Oakland with a 6-2 victory.

Huff's first two-run homer broke a 1-1 sixth-inning tie. He added a second two-run blast in the eighth to help San Francisco complete a three-game sweep of its Bay Bridge Series inter-league rival.

With the win, the Giants avenged a sweep by Oakland last month.

Cain (6-4) held the A's to only one run over seven innings, scattering eight hits, walking one and striking out four.

Santiago Casilla registered his second save with 1 1/3 innings of scoreless relief.

Oakland's Vin Mazzaro (2-1) -- starting in place of injured lefty Brett Anderson -- was tagged for four runs (three earned) on six hits over six innings.
