ANAHEIM, Calif., May 12 (UPI) -- Evan Longoria drove in four runs Tuesday and Carl Crawford had three hits to lead Tampa Bay to a 7-2 win over the Los Angeles Angels at Anaheim.
Longoria socked a three-run homer in the seventh inning to stake the Rays to a 6-0 lead and end their three-game losing streak.
Jeff Niemann (3-0) was credited with the win for his solid 7 1/3 inning start in which he gave up two runs on six hits. Four relief pitchers in the final 1 2/3 innings nailed down the victory.
Scott Kazmir (2-3) was the loser in his first start against the team where he spent six years before being traded to the Angels last season. Kazmir struggled through five innings, giving up three runs on seven hits and three walks.
Torii Hunter had two hits and an RBI for the Angels. Hideki Matsui had the other Los Angeles RBI.
