not complaining but is dsih network down again?

I fell asleep watching the 11 PM news (I watch it from the input using rabbit ears so I can watch with digital signal). when I switched back to watch my Pansat 2700A, it said bad channel or scrambled. so it might have gone out between 11 PM May 21st, and 2 AM May 22nd.
since I was asleep, and wasn't able to see if the normal pattern of the system going out.
what's been happening the past few times since DN had been cracking down on FTA users is that I'll hear a loud popping noise from tv speakers, then FTA unit will power off, and do the knight rider lights and turn back on with no signal. before a month or 2 ago, it was just give me the bad channel or scrambled error message with no popping noise or restarting of the receiver.

Pansat 2700,How to fix Night Rider Lights



If you are experiencing a dashing line, going back and forth on your display, you are experiencing "Night Rider Lights". This is usually because you either rushed through the process and did not allow time for complete downloads and reboots, or you attempted to load your 2700 with the wrong loader..

No big deal...here is a fix....

You will need the following:
loader 27-02, factory bin 115, and boot file 310.

It is very important to TAKE YOUR TIME during this process. Wait until you see the Dialogue Box saying "Download Complete" before moving to the next step or disconnecting any cables.

1-FLASH FACTORY BIN Pansat 2700A_060526_115_api.bin using the new GTRom v.27.02 Wait UNTIL "Download Complete"
and unit reboots to "ON"

2-DO NOT TURN OFF. Leave "ON" then load boot file BOOT_2700A(b75)_(07)0310.bin.

THIS WILL SHOW YOU NUMBER ON DISPLAY,Wait to see "Download COMPLETE"on PC,PRESS Ok. DO NOT SHUT OFF 2700 FROM BACK LEAVE IT "ON'.

3-FINALLY Flash the Latest Bin
THIS WILL SHOW YOU NUMBER ON DISPLAY, WAIT TO See "DOWNLOAD COMPLETE"on PC,PRESS Ok., the unit will reboot to "ON".

Check ALL your setup settings.....SAT scan if needed and watch TV.


If you have successfully upgraded to B-75 and are now experiencing problems, I suggest you load the factory bin Pansat 2700A_070310_B75_120_api. using loader 27.02.

TAKE YOUR TIME...Wait until you see "Download Complete" and the 2700 reboots to "ON", DO NOT TURN OFF 2700, then load the latest bin with same loader.

not doing any of the things you said. I load new bin file, and is working fine for a day or 2, then hear the popping noise while viewing a tv show. then the whole receiver restarts. I've been successfully loading bin files for over a year, and have that down, this restarting itself is a new thing right before the bin file code expires to point where I get the bad channel or scrambled message. guess it's my receivers way of saying the code isn't good anymore.
just was curious if anybody else is having this problem.
