On-Demand Service Debuts from DIRECTV
On Monday, DIRECTV launched its much-talked-about DIRECTV on Demand service to customers across the nation.
The platform is available at no additional charge to customers with a DIRECTV Plus HD DVR or R22 DVR receiver.
The service, DIRECTV said, offers more than 4,000 standard-definition and HD titles, 24-hours-a-day, seven-days-a-week. The service allows customers to download programming from an on-demand library to a DVR.
Other features include customized programmer homepages that highlight a programmer's on-demand channel and its latest shows and movies. The service also provides remote internet scheduling, free on-demand titles and an expanded pay-per-view slate.
