Pleas help I am new

I have A pansat 3500sd+ i have not used it for a while. Now I downloaded a new bin. file Put it on and SD card and installed on my Pansat and I can see all the channels in a menu but they have a $ sine in front and wont play. Pleas help is there something I am doing wrong.
