Querrey downs Fish for Queen's Club title
LONDON, (UPI) -- American Sam Querrey edged countryman Mardy Fish 7-6 (7-3), 7-5 Sunday to capture the Queen's Club final in London.
Querrey, the No. 7 seed, needed less than 90 minutes to take his first-ever grass court final and third championship of 2010.
He used 15 aces and 4-of-5 break point saves to notch the win in the Wimbledon tune-up, improving his all-time record in ATP finals to 5-5.
With the loss, Fish fell to 3-11 all-time in finals. He had downed Querrey in their first and only other meeting at Los Angeles in 2007.
