"A possible bus strike that would affect students in the Toronto School District and the Toronto Catholic District School Board will not happen Wednesday.
Both boards have been advised that a tentative labour agreement between bus operator First Student and Teamsters Canada was not ratified.
A strike would affect the Cardinal bus service division, which includes the east end of the city, including Scarborough. Wheelchair bus service west of Yonge Street would also be affected.
The union will meet with members later this week to vote on the final offer for bus drivers.
