ShowmeX2 Multi-Room SS Users
Release: ShowmeX2 Multi-Room SS User PACK 1
This Frimware is built and released for users who have more then 1 SS unit at home, this will make your SS not lost connection if more then one SS is conected on same NETWORK.

Don't even think about it, do not Use this firmware because you are experiencing freezing or stuff like that..
If you don't have more then One SS on your Network, then this is not for "YOU"
No Warraty for ShowmeX2 if MAC is different..
If you think making a firmware change will work better because your counter sees only One MAC Address, then this is for YOU.

FYI: All Showme X2 Dongles have the Same MAC Address. (unlike all other Dongles from other IKS Systems)
For those running more than 1 Sonysat Receiver on the Same Network, Some Routers will only sees one MAC Address even though you may have 2 or more X2 Dongles connected with Cat5 to the Router. Some Routers will find a conflict and only one X2 Dongle will work properly and only one Receiver will have Picture while the other will be frozen.
By changing the MAC on one X2 Dongle, a unique IP Address can then be assigned properly and 2 - X2 Dongles can then be used at the same time on the same Network.
My understanding is that the purpose of this firmware is to change the present MAC Address to up to 10 different MAC Addresses.
Please use at your risk and once I try it I will report back
