Utah mother charged with child porn
SALT LAKE CITY, (UPI) -- A Utah mother allegedly distributed a flier showing a digitally altered picture of a 13-year-old girl having sex with a dog, officials say.
Danette Stark, 37, faces a string of pornography charges after she allegedly produced a flier featuring a doctored photograph showing the girl's face superimposed on an image she found on the Internet and distributed it around the girl's middle school, ABC News reported.
Stark's daughter goes to the same school, Salt Lake City Northwest Middle School, ABC reported Monday.
A custodian in a girls bathroom allegedly found one of the fliers.
Salt Lake District Attorney Lohra Miller called the production and distribution of the flier "heinous," but would not suggest a motive for the crime.
"The motive is irrelevant," Miller said. "In this case, the heinous and despicable acts speak for themselves."
Police reviewed surveillance footage allegedly showing Stark entering the school. After being arrested this month she was charged with 18 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, ABC said.
