Since ftahq has offlined their forums (about a month ago), I haven't read anything about the current state of the attempted N3 hack.

Are things still in a state of limbo, or has any real progress been made?

It has been very quite, which is a good thing as peoples expectations are kept to a realistic level. Nothing is uncrackable, but time will tell it an EMU can be done with the existing STBs out there now. The last encryption took months to crack. I have to assume the same applies here.

VS has made claims before and had to change them. The fact that a date has been given is different, so time will tell. The good side of this is if one comes out with a BIN for N3, the others will follow shortly. We'll talk on the 22nd.
