I guess you looking for a lession in how to RAID drive's....Just google "How to setup a RAID configuration" or "RAID two HDD's"What two HDD's you use arnt all that important...but yes they usualy are best to be same size.(manufacturer also isnt important...)To setup its simply set both the HDD's pins and then configure the BIO's

Read your manual.http://www.msi.com/index.php?func=downloaddetail&type=manual&maincat_no=1&prod_no=1250I did. Appendix C.Drives of the same size? If you used drives of different sizes, say a 200gb and a 250gb, then you would end up with a 400gb drive in Raid 0, and you would lose the left over 50gb. So you SHOULD use drives of the same size to avoid wasting space.end of line

It's important to get two HDDs that are the same size and speed. They don't have to be from the same mfg.You didn't specify which OS you are using. Windows XP is a pain to setup RAID if AHCI mode is needed, but Vista and Windows 7 are easier.***
