New (less than 30 days old) sonicview 8000 is freezing up and sometimes volume will disappear. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

if asking for help explain what bin or fix you have in it and your sat settings in order for someone to help you......

Sorry, new to satellite receivers. Hopefully, this is the information that you need.

The problems just started this morning.

Thanks Wizzard for your help, but I have searched the forum on how to perform a "hard re-boot" and cannot find the procedure. Can you direct me to the procedures?

A hard reboot is turning receiver off from the rear switch and waiting 5 minutes then turning back on........make sure you do not turn it off from the front.....it must be on.....that is a hard reboot...forced....work 99% of the time.....
