Viewsat

I have an old viewsat ultra and platinum lite.................these went down a year or so ago, can they be used again

You would need to purchase a VS Weatherforecaster, you can find them on Ebay. All working receivers now require connection to the internet at all times. There are no stand alone fixes, everything has gone to IKS ( internet key sharing ). That is what the weather forecaster is for is to connect to the internet.
What do you need?

- Weather Forcaster
- Router
- Modem
- Internet Capability

It WILL work with the Ultra, Ultra Lite, MaxHD, and 9000HD

It will NOT work on the Platinum series, Xtreme, vs pro or VS7000PVR units.
