epg problem

hey can somone help? everytime I try and update my program guide my receiver freezes what have I done or is this normal. running viewsat pro with the latest bin. thanks happy testing peace

When you try to update your program guide, the default transponder is 12224, and 12224 is spotbeamed. Meaning it will not work in canada so to fix that you need to switch transponders to download a program guide. Hope that helps.

now when I change transponders will this also give me different channels cause I notice when I change tp at antenna settings if I go to certin tp my signal and quality bars turn grey but there is 2 or 4 different tp's that they stay green and orange. so this makes me beleave that I should be able to get different channels on different tp's or does it change automaticly when you change channels? thanks happy testing peace

Help needed.Using Bird 61.5 Echostar 3 for International channels.Unable to pick Indian Tamil channel Sun TV and KTV . Hindi channels are on the channel list. Using Viewsat Ultra.Frequency and Tp Number required and method of Tuning .
