Being new to this and not wanting to be a bin begger, what is the usual time frame for new bins for a pansat 2700a or is there a general time did I get an older receiver and that is why it takes longer, would I benifit from a different one that is more mainstream. Thanks

is this file for a 2700a which I have or is it for 2700, I saw the 2700 label file yesterday but I have been waiting for 2700a (told there was a difference)

Pansat has 2 models of 2700....a 2700 A and a 2700 E. Both are essentially the same ...only differance is and extra output jack on one of them,

I believe it is the E model that has the extra output. but that is unimportant.

Both models use the same 2700 bin file. There are Pansat 2700 clones out there which use a Pansat C or clone safe bin, Those bins have been modified to have any clone killer code removed from them.

If you have been using regular 2700 files....do not worry about the Pansat C clone safe files....continue to use Regular Pansat 2700A/E files.

Also you may see Team Puff and other files in the clone safe files area.

These are only to be used on converted 2500 to 2700 recievers and should not be used on REAL Pansat 2700's.

Thank everyone for once again helping. This is like learning a new language without a glossary of terms ie bins, puffs....

Yes trying to gather as much info as I can. Searching and reading other problems has helped.

usually takes until the next day for a new bin file to be written. I found that my bin file expires around 4-4:30 pm EST. by 11 am the next morning, somebody is nice enough to write a new bin file for us. can be a little earlier or a little later, but they're usually fairly prompt.
