blind scan

ummm i noticed in a few posts you guys suggest - doing a blind scan
how do i do that
also if i have repeat/double channels how do i get rid of them

you go to satelite settings and then you choose auto, or blind I suggest not to do it unless you had some experience or knowledge of what you are really trying to do...also if you had someone set up your receiver tell him to show you....have you uploaded any bins before..?????????????????



and the way you delete your double channels you go to menu and then channel manager and you go one by one deleting the double ones only..........

thank you for the reply - first - please don't laugh i'm a girl and not only that new to all of this (smile) - by bin i suspect you mean the latest file in the loader - yes i have done that -
when i go to menu and i try to delete the channels the system freezes up and shut off and restarted by itself
i have no idea what to do

Island, don't feel bad...co's we're all virgins once LOL. First of all, Rumas should set up a room for beginners, so we won't bother the moderators. It is quite annoying for them answering the same question over, and over again! (1) blind scan is not for all recievers. it's excellent for Coolsat, but not Viewsat. (2) when deleting *press* delete all channels (note: if u do it one at a time, your reciever will froze. Next time, if u have anymore question, plz tell us what reciever u have, and sattalite?
