Calgary police investigate infant death


Calgary police have confirmed they are investigating the sudden death of a baby boy on Thursday night.

Officers were called to a home in northwest Calgary after a three-month-old was found in medical distress.

The infant died a short time later.

The major crimes unit is investigating, as the cause of death is "unexplained" at this time.

Homicide has not been called in.

An autopsy will be done Monday and police hope to have more information then.
