My Macbook Pro died and I want to access the internal harddrive (which is still working). Can I just put it into a external harddrive enclosure and have access to it and its files? Or do I need to take the drive out and put it into another computer to access the info. I would prefer to the do the first option since I dont have a spare computer to drop the drive into. Thanks for the help!

External hard drive enclosure would work just fine. You will want to know what kind of interface the hard drive uses (ATA, SATA) and the size: 2.5"

That will work fine, just get a 2.5'' HDD enclosure and plug it in. Access it like you would any other external drive, the only difference is you will see the original OS files which can be deleted if you dont plan on using that drive for anything but storage.

you can tack the hard drive out of your pc and put a enclosure on the internal drive and make a external
