!@#!$% Coolsat not fuctioning Properly

My Coolsat 8100HD is messing up! Every time I'm watching TV the picture goes black and the it appears again, several times within seconds. It so frustrating just want to toss my equipment out the window. Does anyone have a solution? please help!!!!! Its not the cables or the TV.

turn receiver off from the rear leave off for 100 minutes turn back on then put on channel 239 and leave for 15 to 20 minutes ...

I got it to work. The 1080i HD component was the reason it was flashing. What I did was hook it up through the av cables and it worked find. no more problems. Thanks
