[Help!] How do you load a program onto a viewsat 2000 platinum with a usb flash drive ?

My viewsat 2000 platinum just went down and i wanted to know if there was any new program for it. Also i wanted to know how do I place the program on the reciever with a usb flash drive.

How do you put program into usb for viewsat ultra lite instead

Hi, i would like to know how can i put the new program in the usb without connecting the box in the computer. Please help me.

Loading Instructions




Ultra USB stick Loading Instructions

Quick Instructions:

Insert your USB stick into port on back of STB
Press MENU - system information - Reciever Upgrade - USB
Now a box pops up with the contents on your USB stick.
Browse to your file, hilite it and press OK.
It will then load that file.

Thats it !!

How to load with memory stick USB
Firmware Upgrade using USB flash drive.

Copy the firmware upgrade file to a USB flash drive.
Connect the USB flash drive to USB port in receiver.
Go to "System Information" than select "Receiver Upgrade."
Select USB and press OK button.

Select the firmware upgrade file and press OK.

When file transfer is completed, the receiver will be automatically reboot.


Note: If you do not see any files listed on your USB2 Flash Drive, power down Ultra using rear rocker power switch and in say 5 seconds power back up and follow above steps to get into loading files from USB2 Flash Drive into Ultra lite.........
