Keep those 9-10 foot dishes and put them to use!
KEEP YOUR TEN FOOT dishes! They can be used for all satillite systems! The process is very simple.
A little background on this. Cable television puts down the satilite dishes that we all use, and say that they don't get rain fade, or weather issues causing loss of signal. Am I right or am I right?!?! Now you can have picture perfect reception with a bigger dish like the cable companies use! If you don't belive me, drive by the company and take a look! They have huge dishes. The point being is that the bigger the dish, the less signal loss. I am right again! LOL
Are you ready to learn how to do this?
First things first
Tools needed:
Ladder
Zip ties, or equivalent
Ambition to do this
The want to watch tv when you get "rain fade"
Ok, now that you have this ready, pull the down converter off the unused big ugly dish and make it a sunflower (just kidding) but do take the down coverter off. (LNB)
Secondly, Take your LNB from your existing dish, (bev, dve, and other) and mount it where the other lnb was. They have mounting brackets now for that thanks to me. If you don't get a bracket, use the zip ties and secure it to the dish, and make sure it is pointing to the CENTER of the dish. Easy so far, YES it is!
The last thing is to position the dish to the appropriate satillite in da sky. Then wahhh lahhh! TV! Let it rain, hail sleet and snow! You will be the only one watching televsion in your neighborhood (unless they have cable).
