Indictments....
The latest news of indictments of Mr. Viewsat and others has nothing to do with the future of FTA... The indictments were for old actions, actions in which got Map57 running. These charges are nothing more than what they seem, a scare tactic pursued by Dish for the feds to get involved. There are people out there that wish to make money and those that will cut off the hand that feeds them. These indictments come from such type people. This has nothing to do with nagra3.
We fully expect a nagra3 fix in the near future.
This site also is not owned or operated by Mr. Viewsat and has no direct connection with him or Viewsat, Inc. We are a privately owned site that allows all to publish information regarding FTA and such. This sites server is in Malaysia and not in the US or Canada.

There is a lot more to releasing a fix then just releasing it... remember all the big boys have been handling lawsuits from Dish, no one is in a huge rush to be the first out and thinking about it, giving Dish time to prove no one has their stuff hacked and show results to all the providers that had threatened to pull their channels from Dish for not being able to keep them encrypted might be a nice thing and when the fix does come out late august... oh did I say that?... will be less pressure from Dish.
Lets us all remember also Map57 was down for what a month? I believe it was about 6 weeks. We presently are down for 5 weeks and counting. This is not the end just a little break time, it will be coming just relax.
