Outdoor Channel on MAXHD

What is the secret to getting the Outdoor Channel on the MAXHD?

I have tried everything but cannot seem to get it. Same with Sportsmans Channel. I was wondering what channel and transponder it was on since several satellite maps show different channels and transponders. It shows up on my guide at 153, but nothing.

I found out two things. My transponder list on my MAXHD does not match the list on lyngsat. And I was not able to find the Outdoor Channel on any of the transponders.

I thought that all the channels were on 110 and 119, but I didnt find the OTDCH.

Is there an update for the transponder list or do I have to go in and make the changes individually?

Also could someone give me a clue where to find the Outdoor Channel?

This is latest sat info as of 02-17-09 for 129W Ciel2 and Echo 5 updated TPs. Factory default after loading. Remember to write your antenna settings so you can re-enter them in.

Anyone have a more up to date satellite list for latest TP info? Seems Lyngsat and Sat Beams are out dated.

I am looking for the Outdoor Channel with standard resolution(not HD) on the dishnotwork, should be SID 153.

Now we have a better understanding of what you trying to do,, the more info you can give the better help you can get, like "bruksn" and "face33" was trying to tell you,,

Did you try to google it, and even if you see the channels it does not means you be able to get it, it's all up to the servers and what they have open,,

Googled, binged, followed links, done just about all I can to find what TP its at now. Some others have helped and said they get it, but I have only had one time it popped up on 153 for about 10 minutes and then went down and havent been able to get it since, both on VS Ultra and MAXHD. The Sportsmans Channel and the Outdoor Channel both seem to be very elusive. I can see the birds and the channel shows up for HD, but not for SD. Some folks have given me complete satellite info but it pulls in nothing. And everyone seems to have a different set of satellite data. So I find it hard to trust some of the published data, even though I give it a try and am open to any and all suggestions.

This forum seemed to be better than others, until I got some miscommunication going with "bruksn" and "face33", which I will take full responsibility for. I dont have enough experience to know which questions to ask so I was getting disparate information, which I dont know what to do with. It is difficult to convey a lot of info in short messages. I am really not a difficult person and I appreciate all the help.

I have been told that PFTAHDMSW_100909HM is the WF file.

And the latest factory bin file is PFTAHDMSW_100902HM.

What is the difference?

And where do I find PFTAHDMSW_100902HM?

Thanks buttman302! There does not appear to be a 902 file for the MAXHD. Any suggestions where I might find one?
