[Not Working!] Remote good, cw700 box is not

I'll try to explain this as best as I can.

Tried to update friends box (cw700). First tried the remote, didn't work, so i used the front of the box to pan through usb to flash. The box took the update (what I didn't realize is, this box was not serial verified yet) and now the box is stuck on the serial verification screen (via remote not working to put in the number)

-I tried new batteries wasn't the case still had a light coming on the stb button (yes stb button was pushed). took out the batteries for approx. 10-15 min then put them back in to reset remote, no go.
-tried remote on cw800 and it works, tried 2 OTHER working remotes on cw700 and doesn't work.
-I tried putting Factory file 1.02 and 1.03 then upgraded to bin 1.93 with loader via serial, (yes did hard boot between factory and bin) still stuck on serial verification screen, the only thing I can do is power it off and on with the switch in the back
-opened the box, no capacitors were swollen or bulging (result of them being blown)
-tested Vs and Carrier out on the IR(infra red). Vs is at normal 4.91v but not getting anything from Carrier out even when depressing the buttons on the remote.
-tested all power pins and ALL readings are at proper voltage with complete circuits.

So i'm thinking it MIGHT be the Carrier out on the IR that isn't bringing the info back to the board to process the remote.....but thats just a guess on my part

Warranty is VOID

If someone can give me any advise on how to fix this problem it would be much appreciated.

Ok first thing's first do factory default delete everything in there...

Load the factory firmware 102 then load bin 1.92 enter the serial then 1.93 then 2.15 then rescan sat 119 lnb 1 and 110 lnb 2do not load firmware 1.03then you should be up and running with no problem....

and I will send you a number via private message so you can call and they will sent you out a cw700 new remote control if you need it over night ......

But this is the whole problem, the box is not picking up the remote. The remote works fine with other boxes(cw800).

After I loaded the factory 1.02; just to see if it was a software problem I hard booted and pluged it in to the tv. Even from a factory file without the serial bin im not getting the box to respond to the remote.

So what i'm thinking is, it's a hardware problem.

I'm new to this site and so far I like it. Quick responses, and a great staff.

Thnx again Wizzard, if there is anything else that crosses your mind like where I would be able to get new board and how I could find out which board in the box that's giving me the problem, would be greatly appreciated.

The number I gave you in the private message call them and ask for richard and see what he can do for you about getting a new board other than that, that's all you can do is to buy a new receiver.

I don't recomend to buy from ebay you never know what you will get ................
