Stuck in radio

My pansat 3500sd is stuck in the radio mode,I used the radio/tv button,but it dont work,I know I am doing something wrong,problem is WHAT?

try hitting STB button first then radio / tv button

If that dont work try turning it from the rear as soon it come's up hit power off ..then hit the stb like mention on previous post...and try to change channels...

You can also try taking the batteries out and hit every button on the remote put batteries back and then try again to put in a channel ........

The turning it off in the rear .........worked like a charm,thanks for all the advice,maybe you can help me with this ?
I am locked on echo 8,tryin to get echo 7,I have the dishnetwork standard dual LND dish,seems like I have a good signal until i select "ok" in the attenna set up mode,as soon as i select "ok" I loose the signal,must be something wrong with the way i hooked up the diseqcv1.0 switch,seemed pretty straight forward,had a port for the reciever,put echo 8 on port 2 and it plays fine,hooked 7 up on #1 and nothing.
What confuses me is I get good signal on 7 then I click the ok button to proceed with setup and signal disappears,also get a signal on some other satellites like G3c that arent even close to echo 8.
anyone got any idea what I am doing wrong ?
