Toronto Emergency Services have confirmed a teen boy was killed in a shooting in the city's northwest.
The shooting occurred near Bathurst Street and Wilson Avenue at around 4 p.m., EMS deputy commander Allen Cameron said. The boy was pronounced dead at the scene, he said.
While Cameron couldn't say how old the boy was, Toronto police Const. Tony Vella said he was 16 years old.
No one else is believed to be injured in the incident.
Police have not said if they have identified any suspects in the shooting.
